Self-payers
A self-payer is regarded as a guardian who decides to accompany her/his child without the cover of the health insurance company. Usually the stay of the guardian is covered by the insurance company for children under the age of 6 years.
In the case of a self-payer the cost is 600 CZK – 675 CZK per day
depending on the season and type of accommodation (standard room or apartment). Full board (5 times a day), services and accommodation are included.
A self-payer is also regarded as a patient above the age of 15 years or a patient who resides outside of the Czech Republic. The cost is then dependent on the type of medical care required.
